You are promoted as the senior manager of your department. Write a letter to your employer. In your letter you should say
– how you felt in the firm
– what additional responsibility you think you have now
– express your gratitude to the employer
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude towards my promotion which you offered recently.
I have been working in the marketing department for the past five years. The work experience I gained from our department is invaluable, and I have been very comfortable with my colleagues and seniors.
I know it is a challenging and risk-taking platform, however the past experience and exposure that I gained would support me to take up the new responsibilities like managing the next layer of employees as well as bringing coordination.
It was a dream post for me in this organization and I am super excited to hold this reputed post under your guidance. Once again I would like you to thank for this invaluable opportunity and entrust this power on my shoulder
