You live near a recreation ground. A local school brings pupils to the recreation ground to do sports, such as football and cricket, but recently this caused some problems. Write to the head of the school.
-explain why you enjoy living by the recreation ground
-describe the recent problems
-and say what you think the school should do.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear school principal,
I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the recent problem caused by the students from your school.
I have lived here in the Wanhua district since 2004. The park is one of the cleanest and safest places in our neighbourhood, where I always like to go in the mornings and enjoy a touch of warm breeze.
Unfortunately, I noticed that some of them littered the park and did not clean up the snack packages when they left. Especially after they have a football contest, a large amount of rubbish is found on the ground.
I would appreciate it if you could put a sign at the entrance of the park and emphasize the regulations to the students during their classes. Nevertheless, I would definitely like to see them get close to nature together once they understand the importance of environmental protection.
