The air-conditioner in your flat broke three weeks aago anf it is the middle of summer. You asked the landlord to repair it and he promised to send someone but no-one has contacted you yet. Write a letter to the landlord complaining about the situation. In your letter:
– explain the problem,
– remind the landlord about his promise,
– say what you want him to do.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to complain about the air-conditioner which has been broken in your apartment for three weeks.
I has rented your flat at 140A Dien Bien Phu Street. As I remember, on Sunday three weeks ago, I certainly contacted you by messenger and you promised to take someone repair it. The second time I called you when you weren’t home but you also make sure but since then no-one repaired it. So, I hope you will recall because of the hot temperature in the middle of summer. This is the reason why I can’t focus on something I do, and I feel unpleasant now. Please keep your engagement and contact me soon.
