Sure, here it is.

What was your dream job when you were at a young age?

Well, when I was younger, I dreamed of being a travel or food blogger, as I have always had a passion for cooking and travelling. I always desired a job that would not require me to work in a single location because I did not want a monotonous work life. Therefore, I desired to become an international travel or cuisine blogger.

IELTS Speaking Interview

Have you ever changed your mind about your dream job?

Yes, as I’ve grown, I’ve realised that I’m better suited for a career as an engineer in the computer industry than as a travel blogger, based on my talents and understanding of Computer Science courses. I changed my mind because my parents did not want me to enter that field.

What are your plans to do in the future?

As I have a significant interest in the technological field, I hope to continue working as an engineer in the future. I’ve been learning computer programmes and programming languages for more than four years, and I’m now fairly confident and at ease with it.

What kinds of jobs are highly popular in India?

Well, several occupations are popular in my nation, but I feel that the majority of parents want their children to become physicians, engineers, police officers, athletes, teachers, performers, or models.

IELTS Speaking Interview

Do you have a job right at present?

Yes, I am currently employed as a content writer for a reputed company. As an intern, I am responsible for creating content optimised for search engines that can be published on the company’s website.

Have you had a full-time or part-time job earlier?

This was my first full-time position, one I want to maintain. Due to my studies, I had a part-time job repairing software and hardware problems on computers and mobile phones.

What is your job?

Currently, I am employed as a content writer, where I am responsible for producing SEO-compliant articles for website publication. The material may consist of study-related instructions or exercises.

IELTS Speaking Interview

Why did you decide on that job?

In whatsoever case, I intend to develop a profession in the field of computing by creating applications and websites. In addition, I believed it would be prudent to learn SEO while working on the website’s content and monitoring its layout.

Is it a popular job in your country?

The field is so large that anyone can readily identify an area of interest and work in it. In any case, the occupation is popular in my nation. With the advent of technology, all firms and enterprises desire to establish a website to make their products and material accessible. And for this, they would pay a content writer to create original and engaging content.

Do you get on well and have a good rapport with your colleagues?

Yes, my coworkers are quite friendly. Daily, we discuss our work and experience in order to generate content-related ideas. In addition, they are always willing to assist, so we get along extremely well.

A moment when you felt proud of your friend’s success

– What was the success?

– When it happened?

– How did he/she accomplished it?

And explain why you thought it was a success.

SAMPLE ANSWER

A success story in a person’s life is a proud moment for a friend. It reminds me of my closest friend, Raj, who started an NGO (Non- Government Organization) of his own by the name ‘Hope’. The organization mainly focused on underprivileged women and the ones who have gone through a lot of difficulties in life. It mainly aimed at women empowerment. It provided them with holistic education and employment so that they get an identity and work independently and make a choice of a lifestyle they want to live.

Raj had always been a social activist from his university days and he spent his summers engaging in activities for the society’s welfare. Professionally, he was a road constructor and on a project he noticed the ill-treatment meted out to women laborers by their own family members. It was a turning point in his career and he decided to uphold gender justice, equality and women rights. He was determined to work for poverty-stricken urban women who face all kinds of abuses.

When this idea struck Raj’s mind, he came to me for some suggestions because his major concern was a place to commence the organization. I advised him to start it by utilizing the extra area he had adjoining his house. As it was for a good cause, he already had many people to work for him. He started it by visiting slums, making women aware of their rights and promised to provide with a life of dignity and independence.

Today, his organization has grown to an extent that it was awarded for being ‘NGO of the year’ of our city, Dehradun. As I too try to visit his organization and contribute in some way or the other, he had accomplished more than I imagined. This makes me feel so proud of him. He had provided work and education to many women and they all ARE doing quite well in their lives.

In my last visit to him, he told me about his future plans of expanding the organization where the women would organize and manage monthly fairs in which women would make and sell art and utilize their skills. All profits incurred from these fairs would be kept by the workers and not the organization.
