Are you interested in robots? /Do you like robots?

Yes, absolutely! Robotics engineering is a field I take a keen interest in. I have actually subscribed to a journal entirely dedicated to robots called “The Robot Workshop”. The other day I read a really interesting article about how robots can be used to perform surgeries.

Do you like robots to work at your home?

I think that’s a brilliant idea. I’m quite lazy, so household chores like cleaning or cooking are a real hassle. I would prefer to have those done by a robot. Actually, we have a robotic vacuum cleaner at our house. It’s truly a life-saver.

Do you want to take a car which robot is the driver?

Well you know nowadays, self-driving cars are certainly not a strange topic anymore. A.I. has gotten more sophisticated, and it’s more than capable of navigating addresses and controlling a vehicle. However, I will say I don’t really feel comfortable letting robots take the wheel. I think they are not 100 percent reliable, and may not handle dangerous situations like a slippery road as well as a human driver does. So for now I still prefer to drive manually.

Will robots replace human beings in the workplace completely?

Well, these days human labor is being marginalized by automation in the workplace, especially in manufacturing. Labor-intensive tasks can be done by machines with ease and precision. However, there are always things that require the delicate touch of a human hand. For example, a hand-made shirt always has more soul than a machine-made one.

I went for a vacation to my aunt’s place. And her husband happened to have 2 extra tickets to the game apart from his own. But nobody wanted to go with him. I took it as an opportunity to experience England. I watched it with my Uncle (my Aunt’s husband). He was able to get one of his friends for the second extra ticket.

So my uncle, his friend Mr Philip and I watched the game, with another thousand people we met at the arena. It was a great feeling, I had a blast and enjoyed screaming at the top of my voice. It was a time to let loose and have fun. Though at the end of the game, I lost my voice because of the loud screaming.

But it was worth it because the team I supported won the match. Tottenham with Harry Kane scoring a Hat-trick. I hope to do it again whenever I go to visit My Aunt.

Do you prefer watching sports live or on television?

As a sports enthusiast, I enjoy watching live sporting events. Due to a lack of time, I must then watch it on television. Despite the numerous benefits of watching a sporting event on television, nothing beats the fun and excitement generated in a stadium.

Why do some individuals enjoy watching live sports?

The primary factor is the atmosphere of the stadium or playground. Today’s televised sporting events are beautifully portrayed, but they lack the intensity of a live game. When you’re in the centre of a stadium’s throng, you feel like a vital part of the team.

What types of sports do Indians enjoy watching?

Traditionally, the majority of Indians used to watch live cricket matches. Other sports attracted a relatively tiny audience. However, Indians are now interested in live telecasts of many types of sports, including hockey, football, tennis, basketball, etc. And as a result of this enormous upheaval, some sports that were on the edge of extinction have been revitalised. Kabaddi is the main example of this; a Kabaddi league has brought the sport back into the spotlight.
