With up to four test dates per month, the IELTS exam is available annually with a total of 48 scheduled test dates. The availability of IELTS test dates in India may differ for the Academic and General Training modules. The General Training module is accessible on 24 dates, however the Academic version is offered on all 48 occasions. Most of these tests are set on Thursdays and Saturdays to give test takers flexibility and convenience.
It should be noted that speaking assessments will be given up to seven days prior to and/or after the exam date, whilst listening, reading, and writing assessments will all be administered on the same day. There’s a chance that the IELTS test city location that’s closest to you won’t provide the same date as another.

Steps to book your IELTS exam dates in 2024 Here are the simple steps for you to follow and book your IELTS test date from anywhere and anytime.
Go to the IDP IELTS website. Once you are on the IELTS website, you will easily spot the “Book Now” option right on the home page. You will find three test options to choose from.
The first one is the “Select Test Type.” Just click on it, and based on your purpose, you can pick the test type that suits you.
Next up is the “Test Type.” If you’re aiming for academic or general training, you can select the appropriate test module according to your needs.
